Forum > Italiano for beginners

Hi I am staying Padova for the next three months and want to learn some Italian. I have been thinking about attending the Bertrand Russel school for a four week course. Or perhaps attending the free course run by the city, can anyone advise if they have attended either of these courses and if they would recommend them? Thanks!

Hi Clair welcome to Padova! I attended the free course (advanced level) at the Petrarca School run by Centri Territoriali Permanenti and it was very good. Many of my friends also attended the beginners course and equally enjoyed it. The teachers were friendly and had many years experience in teaching Italian to foreigners.

Thanks for the reply, I can't attend Petrarca because of the timing of the beginner classes, I will keep trying.
